OUR MISSION
The Mission of the South Bay Outreach Center is to serve people experiencing hardship, so they can attain greater fullness of life. To accomplish this end, South Bay Outreach Center commits to providing food, clothing, and other supportive services to direct and guide people along the path to self-sufficiency.​​
For over 40 years, South Bay Outreach Center has successfully served people experiencing hardship throughout South Bay Los Angeles. We help all who come to our door.
OUR PARTNERS IN CHARITY
We have very generous, local sponsors for the SBOC Food Outreach programs. Please thank and patronize these special companies who give every week.

Our sponsors provide gifts-in-kind (food, merchandise, etc.) which we collect, process, and package in food boxes for distribution to the needy of South Bay Los Angeles.
OUR FOUNDER:
SISTER MICHELE MARIE MORRIS
Sister Michele co-founded The House of Yahweh South Bay Outreach Center with 4 members of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Torrance, CA on November 2, 1982. From then until December 2016 she served as our inspiration and the leader of the mission to serve the poor in South Bay Los Angeles.
Sister Michele retired on June 30, 2017.

Message from Donna Quirk, Executive Director
Ten Rules for getting rid of the blues. Go out and do something nice for someone else, then repeat it 9 times. Thank you for helping the South Bay Outreach Center to do something nice for the people who come to us.
Thank you for your generosity. Thank you for helping us to continue our work and to keep on Planting Hope. With your support, the South Bay Outreach Center plants Hope in the hearts and minds of our clients. Hope for protection from being forced to live on the streets and hope for them to build a better future for their families. This is work I cannot do without your help. It takes a community.
You are the light, the catalyst. You are the world movers and shakers. You, with your time, talent, and treasure, are an essential part of our efforts to make the world a better place. We are most grateful, and much blessed by your presence and your generosity.
