Dr. John Hoying

Dr. John Hoying, MD, board certified in rheumatologist, has his medical practice specializing in internal medicine and rheumatology in Torrance, CA.  He received is MD degree from the Medical College of Ohio and earned an M.A. Cognitive  Psychology, B.A. Mathematics and a B.A. Psychology.  He has volunteered at the House of Yahweh since 1993 and joined the board in 2019. Dr. Hoying has medical mission experience with Flying Samaritans as well as medical missions to Tijuana, Mexico and Mwandi, Zambia. He current volunteers at the Food Pantry for St. Francis Center and has 16 years of experience with food outreach operations in Santa Monica, Compton, and Los Angeles.
