Barbara Kubo - Director
Ms. Kubo has been associated with the House of Yahweh since 2017 and for the past year has served as a weekly Volunteer in the Outreach Center Office. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from UCLA where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with highest honors. After beginning her career in Retail Management, she and her husband opened and operated a successful restaurant business in Manhattan Beach for 32 years. A dedicated Volunteer throughout her adult life, she has served as a Classroom, Library and PTA Volunteer with the Manhattan Beach Schools district, worked as a Literacy Specialist with the LA Times Reading by 9 Program, performed as a Docent at the J. Paul Getty Museum, served as a Day Center Host, Learning Center Aide, Housing Navigator and Ambassador with the Downtown Women’s Center, and held numerous Hospitality and Ministry positions at both American Martyrs Catholic Church and the Manhattan Beach Community Church. |
